About Stephanie Kleine-Ahlbrandt
We operate in an increasingly VUCA world: Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous. In such conditions, even the most resilient leaders and teams struggle to stay afloat, let alone move forward with purpose.
I know. I’ve been there. For twenty-five years, I’ve worked on some of the most intractable world crises from key positions in the United Nations, government and global non-profit organizations — from investigating the genocides in Rwanda and Bosnia to preventing war with North Korea. Through all the crisis and upheaval, I realized that the very conditions that create uncertainty, confusion and stress can be the catalyst for the deepest and most meaningful transformations. Pain and potential are two sides of the same coin.
I founded Activus to support leaders and organizations to make the inner transformations necessary to realize the largest possible global impact. With the wide diversity of leaders, teams, organizations and cultures with which I’ve worked, I feel both qualified and privileged to be able to help purpose-driven leaders and teams become the most extraordinary version of themselves. More than ever, today’s rapid disruption, volatility, and change requires that organizations lead with their full values in all aspects of their operations, guided by courageous, principled, and emotionally intelligent leaders who foster cultures of collaboration, integrity, trust and well-being. I wake up every day inspired to work with leaders who dig deep inside themselves to spark the changes they wish to see; and organizations committed to the full realization of our collective human potential to bring the greatest possible change in the world.
